I have a new 1963-1964 80/20 Loop Carpet Set for sale. So, this afternoon, I took a few photo's to add to my item description post on EBay.
After comparing my photo of the driver's side carpet with heel-pad to those pictures in several of the available 'mid-year' Corvette catalogs, I ended up very confused regarding the correct dimensions for the heel-pad.
The outside dimensions of the heel-pad on the carpet-set for sale are: 9 1/2" tall (with an added 1 1/2" by 3 3/4" at the top right where the gas-pedal mounts) by 12 3/4" wide.
The original heel-pad in my '63 (3x) Coupe measures 4" tall by 12 3/4" wide with the added 1 1/2" by 3 3/4" at the top right where the gas-pedal mounts through the carpet and to the fiber-glass floor.
Given that I do not know 'beans' about correct mid-year carpet sets, I'd sincerely appreciate your help in identifying the correct description, i.e., coupe/vertible, '63 or '64 or whatever for this set I have for sale.
