    Another EBay Chuckle

Someone has bid $150K for a maroon '67 BB coupe, which boasts TopFlite credentials (99%) and is advertised as a super-original 400hp tri-power car.

Slight problem - seller proudly includes a photo of the tank sticker which documents the car as a 390hp.

L68 is there (hard to see)

In 1967 (maybe '68 and '69 as well ?) The 400hp option was shown on the build copy as L36 (390hp) with the L68 Convert 390hp to 400hp or some similar description following on a line further down. Don't know why they did this; maybe to emphasize that other than the induction system, it was basically a 390 horse.

BTW, I'm surprised that this car has pulled a bidder at (IMO) a steep $150K.
