went missing from one side, after a ride with the top down. I found one bushing behind the seat, guess I'll find the bolt and the acorn nut under there as well.
I cant find a good reference with the correct orientation of these parts, and the opposite side is no help as I was unsure of the assembly order when I installed the new rear bow onto the frame. Can anyone help with the orientation of these parts? Does the acorn nut face inside or outside. (I guess inside). Two bushings on each side? Can anyone e-mail me a sketch or direct me to a book. Noland's book nor the AIM show this. Even looked in Corvette Central's catalog with no help, although it does say a nut and bolt not a pin and clip as are typical for the other bows.
I guess the constant lowering of the top caused the nut and bolt to become loose. If I It Doesn't call for a lock washer. How do you guys keep this from happening on your cars?
