If there are any members in Switzerland, near either St. Gallen or Altstatten who speak German, I could use your help in making some "local" phone calls or perhaps a road trip at my expense. This involves an investigation on a '64 Chevy that was raced when new, then vanished.
Please send an email if you are willing to help. Thank very much.
Verne, one of our Dutch chapter members (potential) is Martin Pfaendler and he lives in Switzerland (he is Swiss, but was kind enough to join our Chapter); I assume this is the same Martin that Klaus is referring to. I have his contact details which I will PM you.
Thank you both for your willingness to help. I will make those contacts and cross my fingers. I hessitated making this request since this is a forum for technical issues, but my primary quest is to document the technical specs of the car and it's genesis. In the remote possibility that the car may still exist, then it would be a significant piece of Chevrolet's racing history.
