63 - Electrical Condensors Under Dash

As I am tearing apart the dash on my 63 split window resto, I've come across 2 electrical condensors under the dash which have no connections. One is mounted under the steering column and the other is attached to the parking brake. They are not connected to anything and I can't seem to find their purpose in life. I've been looking through manuals and diagram but can't find a thing.
Can somebody help me identify these things!

Have you looked in the U69 radio section in the assembly manual? That's where all the radio noise suppression capacitors are shown.

PS...

There were two radio systems in '63, U65 (AM Wonderbar) and U69 (AM/FM). Each has its own section in the '63 AIM book and the compliment of capacitors used to suppress RF was slightly different for the two radio systems....
