Any one in the Raleigh/Durham/Charlotte NC area have Serious Recommendations for a reputable Machine Shop that has experience with older 60's iron?

Heniz Brothers in Statesville does very good machine work. They are familiar with the necessity of leaving broach marks on cylinder blocks.

I'll second a vote for Heintz Bro's Automotive 1475 Old Mountain Rd. Statesville NC 28677 704-872-8081. All I've had them do for me was set up my dist but I've heard nothing but good about them.

If driving to Greenville, NC is an option I would strongly recommend TAS (Troy) 252 765-8065. Troy does a lot of classic high performance engines. He has done 3 vette motors for me and a couple of fuel injected engines for friends. Highly recommend.

I use Joey Griffith Racing Engines in Washington [on 264 between Greenville and Washington] Great work but a little slow as he is very busy. Good Luck.
