Being new to NCRS I am trying to get starting on some minor projects that I think I can handle before graduating to more complex things (after I learn a little more - OK, a lot more). Any help on the following is appreciated.
1. what is the color of the brackets inside the ignition shield that holds the shielding to the engine? Mine are currently chevy red (orange?), but a lot of the ones I see in the parts catalogs appear to be black.
2. All the brackets that hold the rear bumper to the car are now just rusty, so I want to take them off and clean/re-paint as part of replacing the gas tank and cleaning/painting the frame. I assume they are all flat black finish, but want to make sure before I get started. Also are the bolts painted as well?
These are probably pretty basic questions, but I can't seem to find the answer in any of the NCRS reference guides I purchased. Thanks!
