    Tire question

I'm debating mounting my 6.70 x 15 wide whitewalls on the rims and putting them on my rolling frame now, or continuing to use the junkers I had on the car for transport. It will be about a year before I'm ready to drive it, I'm worrried about flat spots while in storage. I'll paint the body off the frame, so overspray is not a worry. Part of me wants to see how they look mounted and on the frame, the other parts says wait.

    Opinions?

I would continue to use the junkers as long as possible. The frame ride height will be too high until the body and interior are installed (additional weight). If you are concerned about looks, install the new tires and rims for pictures, then go back to the junkers.

if the frame is true, etc. and, until you are ready for body drop, would keep the junkers on - when you are ready to drop the body, do door adjustments, etc. then you want proper tires on, but not until then

        Mike,

We use compact spare tires to roll the chassis around, much less rolling resistance than conventional tires. Save your WW's from getting dirty.
