I went to the wheel shop with all 4 of my original rally wheels and goodyear gt 2 tires to have them load force balanced to try to find the severe vibration problem. Well they found it 3 of the four rims are bent. So I need new rally wheels. Any vender suggestions for wheels Please. I looked into haveing them straightened but not to sure which way to go. 71 vette non show car. Thanks Ed

Re: Ralley wheels
Ed------
See if you can find a Hayes Wheel dealer in your area. This avoids shipping costs which can be considerable for a set of wheels. Purchase a set of Hayes #81982 wheels. These wheels will be virtually identical to the originals and are the same wheels supplied to GM for 69-82 Corvette SERVICE.
These are very popular wheels for use on many aftermarket applications. So, many Hayes Wheel dealers will stock them. They often get them by the pallet load.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

You can purchase these wheels from just about any of the Corvette parts vendors like Dr. Rebuild, Paragon, etc. for about 100 bucks each. However, shipping is going to be substantial for a car set.
I can't say what wheel dealers might be present in your local area. However, you should be able to find them in your yellow pages (or, the yellow pages of a nearby large city). Then, just call one of them to see if they carry Hayes Wheels or know who does in your area. When you find a firm that does carry them, simply call and provide the wheel number I mentioned. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: How about sources for '67 rallys?
Corvette style ralleys made by Wheel Vintiques are available in a variety of widths and back spacing. Made in the USA and available through Summit or Jegs. I just got a set of 6" and they even came in the correct silver color. I didn't even have to paint them. Don't know how correct they are for judging, but they are a nice wheel. www.wheelvintiques.com- Top
