    67 l68 fan

    I have a 67 L68 C6O Coupe that has a 6 blade fan. According to the 3rd edition of the judging and info manual on page 110 it states all 427's had a 5 blade fan measuring 17.5 inches. My question was there an exception for the L68 with C60 to be equipped with a 6 blade fan?

      5 Blade

      Mark 64 65 AC cars used 7 blade fans, all others small and big block used 5 blade, they had more pitch to them so they didnt need 7 blade. Phil 8063

          No exception that I know of. In fact, I don't know of a 6 blade fan that was originally used on any Corvette. C2 and C3 used fans of 5 or 7 blades. However, as far as I know, all 1967 applications were 5 blades.
