From your posting I gather that the casting number and casting date on this block are appropriate for your car. That means all you have left to lose is the 88 points allocated to the pad.
You will lose 25 points for an incorrect VIN derivative and 25 points for an incorrect engine plant stamping. If the judges think they can see evidence of suitable broach marks (under magnification), you may still get the 38 points allocated to the pad surface. This determination is made independently of whatever the stampings say.
So, the point loss for this pad will be either 50 points or 88 points. My vote would be to leave the pad alone and hope for the 38 points allocated to the pad surface. If you deck the block (and make no effort to "recreate" the correct appearance), you are guaranteed to lose all 88 points. If you leave the pad alone you might lose only 50 points.
