    Re: 67 bb radiator cap

Richard - From my experience I have found that the more typical configuration on the OEM 66 & up RC-15s is with the AC logo on the left and the RC-15 on the right; but there are too many OEM caps on cars and in peoples' radiator cap collections with the RC-15 on the left and the AC logo on the right to ignore the fact. Until someone can provide definitive evidence to the contrary, my answer is both are "correct" and acceptable.

BTW, in addition to the variation you have observed, I can tell you there are several other RC-15 cap variations that are atypical; but there is no doubt the caps are original AC-Delco RC-15s.

Don't forget the rivet and pick your poison on the logo configuration.

      Pete,

I would suggest that at least the rivet with the depressed center is correct for his 67.

It would be interesting if he could post a picture of his cap for us to see.

At present, all of the RC-15s I see on eBay have the flat center rivet which I belive to be correct for 1970 and after.
