    62 rear spring plate studs

I am currently in process of cleaning and repairing the suspension parts and I have one stud that needs to be replaced on the rear shock mounting plate that is below the leaf spring. Currently I have two different length studs on the plates. One has an exposed length of 2 1/2" and the other is approx 3 3/8". After looking through many catalogs, it appears that only one size (I believe the shorter one) is available through most sources. Are they supposed to be the same length and I have an odd replacement? And if not, does anyone have a source for the longer stud? thanks, Eric#31337

PS; Mike E, yes, I finally stenciled the frame... 3 days ago!

    Alright, Eric!!!Good job!
I'm not at home to check, but I know that both should be the same length--just don't remember which length is correct.

Thanks Bill, was that the same on both sides? If so, it would explain why the vendors only offer one size. Whoever put the long stud on mine did a good job of making it look like original welds. Eric #31337

Forgot to address both sides. Yes, both sides are the same!
