    1967 427/435 Oil Pressure

I need some help on the oil pressure reading for a 427/435. The engine is all original and has 44K original miles. I recently serviced the oil and I used 10w-30 Quaker State (not synthetic). 10W-30 Quaker State has been used in the engine since it had 5K miles. After changing the oil and taking it for a quick drive, I noticed the oil pressure at idle was 20psi at operating temperature. Once you barely press the throttle, the oil pressure instantly increases. At cruising speed, the oil pressure is approximately 40psi. The engine has never been torn into and it has the original oil pump. Could someone tell me what normal oil pressure is at idle when the engine is at operating temperature.

    Thanks for your help!

Although it depends on the idle speed, 20# is both normal and sufficient.
