58 Chassis Parts

An acquaintance of mine turned me on to the idea of a 54 chevy passenger chassis as a donor for some pieces I need to repair my vet chassis. I was wondering if there are any other years that match chassis wise with my 58. I'm also in need of info on anyone who might be able to supply me with an entire chassis or just parts. I am in Florida and would be willing to travel to pick up the parts (I would prefer to limit that traveling to the Carolinas and Louisiana, or any state closer than that of course). I would however like to hear about anyone with these parts regardless of location.

Many of the front suspension parts readily interchange from '49-54 Chev pass car to Corvette, I don't know how much other stuff will. It would make a fine "restorer article if you actually get one and detrmine other interchangible parts. Good Luck!

Brian,my one parts book is pretty complete on that matter.If you like,tell me what parts you are questioning and I will try to look it up.I can tell you, upper and lower a frames are same for '49 to '54 Chevy as they are for '53 to '62 Corvette.
