I need to locate a correct starter solenoid for my 1967 Corvette 1107320 starter. What is the correct part # for the solenoid that is stamped into the case? Thanks in advance, Tim Barbieri

1114356 -- NOS example
At least in the '65 TM&JG it accepts either cad-zinc or semigloss black finish on the metal can; not sure if the paint is accepted in 1967.
You can barely make out the 1114356 stamped onto the body near the attaching flange. The cover is black bakelite; notice the small Delco-Remy logo. Not sure if these are "fillister-head" screws on this unit, or not, as called for in the '65 manual.

Not universally true...
that you can pop a Delco Remy solenoid cap onto an after market starter solenoid... Some brands have 'keyed' caps to assist with assembly and they won't accept a non-keyed DR cap.
On the PN stamping on the original DR solenoid, some factory originals also had a date code on them. BUT, by mid-year era, the starter was bolted to the block and oriented such that the PN and/or date code emboss on the solenoid is almost flush against the engine block/oil pan and is virtually impossible to read/verify once the starter is installed...- Top
