C2 Shifter & Linkage ?

getting prepared to put trans and shifter back in, however I have many extra parts for orignal set up. Need some help in finding the right parts to use again.

Levers on Trans; Have two sets - first is marked 3-4 and 1-2 (1/4" hieght) with an "X" on the reverse side near the middle hole. Second marked same (3/16 hieght) with NO "X" on ohter side. Have four small levers for reverse with a small hole in it, all the same (no idea how I got four)

Have two different style swivels, each are square however one is rounded on top and then transistions to the square.

The main assemble; both have a small 1/2 circle cut out about 1 1/4" along the edge while the second has another square cut (5/8 X1/4) at 3" along the edge.

The 1-2 and 3-4 rods,
The long rod - have one straight with "W" marking while other has 2 bends in it.
The short rod (both have "W" marking) - one somewhat straight other has minor upward bend Both of the short rods have the slotted fit ends - one is longer.

Q: short/long throw - assume top hole is for long??

JM calls for all bolts and associated linkage to be black, only the square swivels are. Any JM comments??? I can always blacken them.

Excellent GM lever & rod dwgs in Noland's Vol 2

I assume you are looking at post-'64 because of the long/short throw holes. There were subtle changes during the C2 years.

Thanks Wayne - that's the answer needed. I know the descriptions I posted were not going to be the best method to find the right parts. Forgot about Nolands book. Only have one hole in correct 64 part, the numbers (1-2 3-4) are shorter for the 64 lever, which were shown in drawing.

After I get it working again will post for finishes.
