    more fun than Corvettes?

I stopped into Dodger Stadium today for the final game of the season...my first Dodger game since seeing Koufax pitch in the mid 60`s when our Corvettes were young or not born yet. On the way in there was a very interesting car show. All LOWRIDERS!!! amybe a couple hundred. I didn`t have much time to spend looking but it looked like a great fun event! Great game, Nomar hit a GRand Slam with 2 outs bottem of the 9th to break a 1-1 tie.

I'd even beg for Yas and the Hawk to crawl out of retirement at this point Is Yas still alive?

Re: Ahh those were the days huh?

Yaz, Rico Petrocelli, Jim Lonborg, Ken Harilson, Carlton Fisk, Reggie Smith, George Scott, Dalton Jones, Chuck Schilling, Tony Conigliaro, ans Lee Stange.

65 and 66 were the years I thought they had the best chance at a world series title.

Oh well Jim, maybe next year huh?

I was 4 in 67 but I do remember the hype, then 75 broke my heart, and forget 78 and bucky dent. And it really wasn't Buckners fault, it was Stanley and Shiraldi... all erased in 04! Corvette content... I think Nomar and Mia have a vette!
