What can I say? After a while I went back to this forum and read the response I posted saying good by. I dint expect the surprised that I got by so many . Your comments are greatly appreciated , I was worried I was posting to often and being to blunt in my answers.
Last year was the first time I entered any Corvette in NCRS , in more then 20 years which was the 55 at the NCRS Chapter meet (Berkley a PINK ladies choice ) and National meet (Park City a first flight ). Starting SACE kept me away from NCRS for many years and I was not to well liked for doing that.
Even tho I've helped and started other organizations I never cared to get involved in politics , master judging or pushing myself on any one, I just love cars and Corvettes , when I was young I was a mechanic on Corvettes for a GM dealer in the late 60's. Because other mechanics then din' t like working on them. I bought many 53 to 57 for $100.00, I was fascinated with the FI units and went around to wrecking yards buying them for $20.00 each , many were given to me because no one wonted or knew much about them. I took power tops out of vetts too, to understand how they worked, I like fooling around on cars keeping them original but most of all driving them. I don't care what any one els does with their Corvette if their happy with it (that's why I started SACE), I just don't care much about flight judging and my wife and I were really surprised the 55 did so well , I just like helping people keep their Corvette running and original .
I'll stay with the forum after all if I can still help some one ,like so many other people helped me years ago .
