Did I read somewhere that the spare tire is/should be smaller then those on the car.For the first time since buying this car,I dropped the spare and discovered an identical wheel /tire(correct for this car)jammed in the carrier.I had a hard time lowering the carrier to get at the spare,had no choice but to remove the 7/16 bolt at back of carrier to lower the spare.
