    Geoffrey-----

Yes, the 68-76 booster push rod was a non adjustable pushrod of GM #3957945. It's long-since discontinued. However, it was supplied as part of booster assembly GM #338906. Unfortunately, it's also discontinued.

Also, I agree; you "...cannot book learn a Corvette". At least, you cannot use that as a SOLE reference. It takes both experience AND "book learning".

I had a 73 Corvette with power brakes that did have an adjustable push rod as this is how I shortened it after questions on this board about six weeks ago with poor brakes and the rod 1/4" too long. I sure think it was original to the car but who knows.

        Lyle,

Wow, that is unusual. You don't have any jpegs do you?
Did you make the adjustement under the dash area via the clevis that mounts to the pedal assembly?

I did not take any pictures as I thought it was no big deal at the time but I still own the car. I made the adjustment under the hood with the M/C off the rod was adjustable. I have two other boosters off a 72 and 74 I will check them out.
