1969 C3 steering Wheel Question ??

What is the correct name for the 1969 -1973 Corvette Steering wheel.
I always thought it was officially called the "comfort-grip".
Or, is it really the "cushion rim"?

Or or maybe is it the Soft-Grip?

Any official factory, or dealer paperwork, to show what is actually right?
It was also used in Skylark, Nova, Impala, and Chevelle.

No fancy marketing names for it in the '69 sales brochure. It just references "...the just right feel of the new competition steering wheel with the resilient rim."

I like it......
The Competition Steering Wheel.
That's actually fancier then I was expecting.
I anticipated something like "Vinyl Covered" Sport Wheel.

The vinyl is really the only thing that changed from 68, other than the depth.

Interesting note -- When ordered for your Buick,
that exact same wheel was ordered as option: "N31 Rallye Steering Wheel"
