C2 Air Cleaner Base 6422188

In my parts collection, I found air cleaner base number 6422188. It has two rubber plugs inserted for various applications (my guess).

I have had this part for years, in a box with the red AC Spark Plug logo on a white label.

If I manage to swap this part for an original 69 427 390 air cleaner base, will that one (from the 69) look correct on a 67 427 390 HP (L36)?

The GM #6422188 is the SERVICE air cleaner base for all 65-68 Corvette applications as well as many 69-72 applications. It's also the SERVICE air cleaner base for many other Chevrolet applications. It's been discontinued for quite awhile.

The 67 L-36 and 69 L-36 bases are different. However, I believe that the only difference is a slight difference in the configuration of the "L" tube for the PCV system. I could be mistaken, though; there may be other differences, too.
