    Oct. 13/14 Albuquerque, NM Super Chapter Meet

    I'm headed to the Albuquerque, NM Super Chapter Meet next week. The flight judging will be Saturday Oct. 14th, and I'm having my 67 coupe flight judged there. Is anyone else going to the show? If so, please let me know. I'd sure enjoy putting faces with names. It'll make the weekend more enjoyable.

          Good Luck, Tony. I'm sure you'll do well. Maybe Las Vegas next April.

          I'll have the convertible top finally finished by then, but not sure if the dealer tag will survive the trip.

                  Meet venue

                  Looks like the judging meet is at the Hotel Albuquerque. Can't tell you exactly where it is, but call the hotel (505/843-6300) or you can call or email Steve Walker (505)867-1121 cwalker100@comcast.net

                  There is also a dinner after the judging (Saturday night). Sounds like alot of fun. I hope to see as many of my fellow members as possible. I'm really looking forward to spending Friday and Saturday "Corvette-ing" with everyone.

                      Same here, Pete. You've been a real help to me with my recently completed (are they ever "completed"?) body off restoration. I'm sure I'll come back with a punch list, but that's just part of the process.

                          Guys,

                          The Hotel Albuquerque is on Rio Grand Blvd. just South of I-40. Look for the tallest building in the area. Anyone planning on attending should already have room reservations as we scheduled this event to coinside with the annual Balloon Fiesta, which features 600-800 hot air balloons. This is one of the most photographed events in the country and hotel rooms will be hard to find for people planning a last minute trip. Get a room and come enjoy some of our beautiful Fall weather. Bill
