    '65 European delivery

    Hello,

I have a '65 Corvette delivered new in Europe. The car has a tag in the right engine bay near by the battery on which the address of GM France is listed.
I know that GM doesn't have any records about produced Corvettes of that time periode. But may there be a slight chance that GM France have any information?

    Regards
    Oliver

        Oliver,

I know of at least one more French imported car currently in the Netherlands (which belonged to a hot shot in Monaco) and I haev a picture at home of the import plate. Could you send me a picture of your plate since I'm planning a future article on import cars and the import proces in the Restorer magazine.

I have no records yet available on the French import proces but I'm planning one day to trace this down. I know a little bit about the Dutch import channel and some minor details on the Belgium channel.

        with kind regards,
        Rob Musquetier

Since the GM-Europe headquarters has been moved about seven times since 1965, I wouldn't place a lot of hope on finding old records, but you never know.
