67 T3 headlamps

I lost points on my T3 headlamps on my 67. The judge said they were DOT, but I can't see any DOT markings on them. Can anyone please tell me what they are looking for in the headlamps.

Walt:

The letters "DOT" are formed into the glass when it's molded. The letters are raised, about1/4" in height, and appear on the surface of the lens.
Total deduct is 3 points for a set of 4 reproduction headlamps.........a very minimal deduct. These lamps are better and slightly brighter than originals. I really oughtta replace my 4 originals with a set from Lectric Limited.

If you will look on the left hand side the lower quadratic you will find it.

On a set from Lectric Limited, you really have to look close. It is hardly readable but the DOT is there. I didn't believe it was there too.

Joe I replaced my originals in my 68 and 70 with GE halogen headlights. Sure makes a big difference in nightime illumination of the road ahead. Real easy to change out for judging.
