    C1;T-10 vs MUNCIE

Notice a lot of solid axles running Muncie transmissions; Is the muncie that much better than the BW T-10?

    Re: C1;T-10 vs MUNCIE

Dennis, IMHO, the transmissions are virtually identical with the BW T-10 being the basis for the design of the Muncie built by GM in Muncie, Indiana. Probably the reason you see so many Muncies in C1's is due to their affordability and availibilty having been used in so many different GM car lines. There is nothing wrong with the durability of the T-10 when rebuilt and used properly. After all, they were used behind the 409!
