    Wiper blade holders Trico

    Can someone tell me if my wiper blades are correct for a 64 car. build in Nov 26 63. The part #'s on the holder is Pat2752626 and 2870822 Polished finish. TRICO

    Sam,

    The blade holders should be high polished, flat top, with Trico stamped on each end. They should also have "Can 63" stamped on the connector. The blade should have dots running down the length of the blade. Hope that helps.

          Don what are these #'s Pat2752626 and 2870822, Also where can I get the rubber inserts with the dots. I believe I have the correct holders.

            Sam,

            Those are just the Trico patent numbers. Paragon has repro blades with the dots, however they are not the same as originals. Originals are very hard to find. They do show up on ebay from time to time. Just make sure you get a close up pic of the blade to make sure it has the dots and patent numbers like the posted picture. Good luck!

              Don, what corner would I find a Can 63? Everything else except the rubber inserts match up.

                Sam,

                The Can 63 is on the side of the connecter. It's a little difficult to see in the pic. Early blade holders (those manufactured prior to 1963) would not have the Can 63, so they would be correct for early 63 cars. By the time your car was made nearly a year later, I can't imagine GM still was still installing the early blade holders. Hope that helps.
