This dealer has been identified with the assistance of the members. The information and suggestions provided through those who responded to my technical discussion posts and the emails received led to the conclusion of this search.
Dealer number 385 was Rudy Haupt Chevrolet of Johnstown, Pennsylvania 15904. This dealer no longer exists and has been defunct for a very long time. I spoke with a woman who was the office manager for the dealership that took over number 385 after Rudy Haupt Chevrolet closed its doors and she confirmed, without a doubt, that Rudy Haupt Chevrolet was dealer 385 in 1967. Perhaps this bit of information will help shed some light on other vehicles delivered through this dealership. Thank you to the members and the NCRS for having such a wealth of information which made finding a dealer forty years after the fact possible. Such situations are a perfect example of why corvettes and their owners are unique.
