Re: Motel at Old Town, FL
Jimmy,
The Comfort Inn is probably sold out for good reason. Do NOT, NOT, NOT stay at the Suites At Old Town. It reminds me of the "Old Days" as a young firefighter in Brownsville, Brooklyn.....the dirty, filthy, abandoned tenements. The squalid, burned-out neighborhoods. Get the picture?
Can you say "Looosiana Bayou River Shack"?

Jimmy, There are 100's of Motels along SR192 (old town area). You want to look on the west side of I-4.Do not look east of Old Town heading towards Kissimmee.Ten years ago when Disney World started building a 1000 hotels on Disney World property,1/2 the local motels went belly up and the remaining 1/2 went down hill from lack of occupants.- Top

Last year I stayed at the Travelodge that was across the street. It is a short walk to the show field and the accomodations were basic but adequate. A lot cheaper too, if I remember right it was $59/night- Top
