I currently have stock aluminum wheels and red line tires which look great for show purposes but I would like to put larger wheels and tires on for drivablilty. I tried a set of goodyear R235/60's on (I think) 7" Crager SS mags. They looked great but I had to use double spacers to avoid the brake calipers, the rear right tire rubbed if I had a passenger or hit a bump and there was vibration at the 65 - 70 mph that repeated balancing could not eliminate.
My questions are: What is the largest width tire I can put on the stock aluminum wheels? Does Crager make an SS mag that will fit the 67 without spacers? What other mags (without spacers) and tire combination are good fits for my car?
Thanks
