    '63 Werewolf (Z06 small tank)

Denver CO swap meet, summer 1988. Probably caught in a building fire. Silver on tan, wonderbar radio (don't have the VIN). Most interest was in the Halibrand (?) bolt-ons. Interior was decent.

    Check out the engine compt:

Anybody know if this was re-built ?

It's not the one I owned in '79. That master cylinder photo sure brings back memories..... Special order EIS kit.

For what it might be worth, I was at the Denver Swap Meet in in 1988 and remember this car. Seems I recall the owner was asking around $8800 for it. The body looked like "cotton candy". Quite a mess.

Yes, car was purchased, went through several hands and finally 'restored'. I don't know if it was faithfully restored or not. But, if memory serves, it was a real deal Z06 that was originally owned by one of the sons of Denver local investment banker, Boetcher & Company, that was damaged in a warehouse fire here...

For a while, I believe it 'lived' at Corvettes Only, a Denver local Corvette shop still in buiness today. The owner operator, Bruce Rosenberg, might be able to tell you more about what eventually became of the car...
