Hi- I could use some help. I have a 1961 corvette with Ser.#01084. I would like to start buying dated parts but I don't know the the month the car was assembled. I understand the car was assembled in 1960 for the 1961 model year. Thankyou, John.

If you do a search on Corvette birthday book, you should find it. Ny 61 is # 5560 and as best as I can tell was built on Valentines Day 1961...

I tried that calculator and it basically says every 1954 Corvette was built on 12/28/1953. That must have been a very busy day at the factory.

January 11, 1954 according to the C1 Registry birthday calculator...

I tried it for the car listed above and it came up Oct 3rd 1960..sounds close.

Rob..I tried the birthday calculator at http://www.ncrswi.bizland.com/bday/bdaycalc.htm

I posted 1961 for the year and 1084 for the VIN and it came up Oct 3rd 1961.

I did not use the C1 registry calculator.
