All of us that into restoring and maintaining our Corvettes have had some positive experiences and some not so positive experiences. I just completed one of those very positive experiences.
As reported on this DB, I lost my original(65 SB) spare tire lock at the National in San Antonio. Needless to say I was very upset. I received several condolences from the group and even some offers to try and find an extra one lying around gathering dust.
I called Peter Lindahl knowing that he is considered one of the most knowledgable in this area. He said that given a little time, he would be able to find a good used lock and match it to the golve box code. Well, I received the spare tire lock and golve box cylinder with keys last week...all are installed and work as the originals did. And at a very fair price.
Any one needing his services (wiper blades too), I highly recommend him.
