Per Noland Adams excellent '63-'67 Corv Rest Guide: P 124 & P 177, an ink stamp is barely visible on the top of a '63 booster. The ink stamp on p. 124 looks to be E62-1075. Can't read the other. How does, if at all, E62-1075 relate to normal Corv and/or Julian date codes? Sorry, if this has been discussed before - I searched the topic "booster" but didn't see anything about ink stamps (just stamped in Julian numbers on flanges). Any suggestions as to a rational (or authentic) ink stamp number for an early Oct '62 build date? Thanks!

Re: ink stamp on C2 brake booster
Fav, Since you have not gotten an answer on this question ask Franzie Estericher as he is the guru of z06's. Or try Booster Dewy who restores them. You don't typically see any ink stamp on the show cars though. The old FI's had a lot of ink stamps on them especially the 57 to 61's. Not much on the midyears only except the hi-pressure pump. Maybe Richard of LI knows this detail. Jorjorian may know it also but he seldom gets on the DB. Surprised you haven't got any replies. Shipping questions easier to get answer for. John- Top
