How long does it usually take to get your judging sheets back from Roy for a regional event. Or does the sponsoring club judging chairman send them out? Don't tell them I asked. Waiting to read all about my dings. Then I will bore you with more 63 trivia. Bet you can't wait. Mikey

Re: judging sheets
John, the sheets come from the chapter judging chairperson. It normally takes two or so weeks. However the New England Regional had quite a few more cars than normal. I would think that you should be getting them right away.Dick Whittington- Top

Re: judging sheets
Hi Joe, That was pretty a pretty fast return for the judging sheets. The judging chairman did a wonderful job in spite of the fact that he was overwhelmed with over 100 cars to judge. Of course he a had a lot of co-operation with the team leaders. Except one. heeeee. No way I tellin who though. Taking that one 6 ft under. No wonder I get in so much trouble with the wife. Can't wait to get my sheets though. It will be fun reading all the little dings and fixing some of them. Thanks Dickie for your written answer also. Your written answers are easier to understand than the oral ones. John- Top

Re: judging sheets
Actually John, the comment "tawk funny" came from a Lawn Guyland newspaper 5-10 years ago. Vinnie Peters sent me the paper. The article was making fun of the way that Lawn Guylander's and New Yawker's talked. It is not a Southern thing, nor is it a Southern invention. (But I wished that I had thought of it first) If you were at the Lancaster National in 1988, you should remember the first (and last) ANNUAL SPEAK FUNNY AWARD that went to Dan Gale. The award included grits, cornbread mix, livermush, rebel crossed flag emblems for wheel centers, and a book by Lewis Grizzard "Elvis is Dead and I Don't Feel So Good.. I could never figure out this thing about paawking the caaar and lobstah. Then again I ain't too bright.Dick Whittington- Top

Re: judging sheets
Hi Dickie, Just signing off when you rang. Yeh I remember the good old days. Thanks for your humorous reply. Stay off the post about UPS and FED Ex though as there is no humor there. WOW. Going to work now. Take care, John- Top
