Alarm/Door Ajar relay for '74

I'm told the original G.M. part no. for this relay is 1115878, it's located in the jack storage compartment and controls the door ajar light in the dash and the alarm system. Can't find it at the ususal places, any help would be appreciated.

I believe the door ajar is a separate circuit from the alarm -- at least it is up to and including 1972. It shares the rear mounted door jamb switch, but that is the only place the two circuits share the same component.
I would expect the alarm relay to be in the jack compartment -- forward of the jack itself in up to 1972. Others will have to provide information specific to 1974.

The original part number may or may not have been 1115878 for 1974. What is the number of active terminals on your relay? To determine this, check the number of "blade" terminals on the relay AND the number of terminals in the connector (those terminals on the "plug" that actually have a brass connector in them).

As Terry mentioned, the relay located in the rear compartment is for the anti-theft system and not the door ajar warning system. I don't think that the door ajar system uses a relay. The door jamb-mounted switches do serve both door ajar and ant-theft systems, though.
