Just got me headlight motors back from the restorer. He restored one, the right side, but I sent him both for a speed comparison. He indicated that they were 1/2 second apart. I also rebuilt the right headlight assembly, it turns freely without the motor installed, no friction or binding.
After installing both motors, the right side is 2 1/2 to 3 seconds slower than the left side. I can find no extra stress or pressure points that will bind the motor or the interaction of the motor and headlight assembly.
As I recall 3 seconds is too long to pass the operation check.
Any thought as to where else to check.
Thanks
Harry
