Gentlemen,
Have not posted before, but have enjoyed your candor, humor, and technical advice.
Now it seems that I also need your help/advice. I'm bringing a 66 roadster 327ci powerglide back to life. In the process of removing the drive shaft (to dispose of a bucket of rust) I noticed the drive shaft stripes were long since gone. One of the two was about an inch or so wide and the second one (just behind the forward one) was about 3/4 inch wide. The paint was missing so all that was left was a lighter colored rusty stripe. Can anyone provide a description of the distance from tne forward yoke weld, the correct colors, their width, and their distance apart.
I've read Nolan Adams' book, but it doesn't provide the detail that I need.
Thanks in advance.
Kenn B.
