I have searched Dobbins and Adams and haven't been able to find out if my T-3's need to have Triangle with lines? Thanks, Al W.

there are early and late versions of the T3 lamps you want for your car. Those used '58-61E have 'GUIDE' embossed above the center triangle (getting VERY hard to find) and those used '61-67 have the 'GUIDE' emboss moved from above the center triangle to the bottom center of the lamp...Comment

Correction
"Guide" moved to the bottom in 1960 - but the low beams retained the 58-9 style baffle until about 1961. (The baffle is my observation from over 25 years of junkyarding for T-3 - I've nearly always found the T-3 style described in 1960 vehicles.) The clear T-3 field remained until 1968 but I have seen 1967 GMC big trucks with lined T-3s that appeared original so the change might have been running just before the model year end.Comment
