1965 Windshield Wiper knob

I am replacing the knobs on my 65 as they had been changed over to 67 knobs. Paragon shipped me a 65 Winshield wiper knob with a whole in the front of the knob. You can look right though knob. I can't believe that can be right ???? Can anyone with a 65 knob let me know ! Thanks ...Ed

Your wiper switch should have a button sticking out that you push to activate the winshield washers. The button goes through that hole.
