Finally Were Back!!!! *TL*

Hi All,

We are finally back up and running on a new and better server, I hope. We can only test it to see what it has. The research I did pointed to this host as one of the strongest. They will just have to prove it. The NCRS Discussion Board will remain on this host separate from the rest of the NCRS.ORG site for the foreseeable future. This will separate the board problems from affecting the whole web site. That also means that it will have a different address than ncrs.org/.

I am sorry for all of the downtime, but we all have to realize that this Internet stuff is still quite new. There will be a lot of changes and shake outs as time goes on. I have looked at several other style discussion boards, and I really didn't find any that had the features that we have here. That doesn't mean that someone won't come up with a killer board tomorrow.

In the mean time the archives are still down. I will be rebuilding them on this server over the next week or so. Just bear with me.

Cookies: Your cookies will have to be reset because we are on a new server. You may have to go away and come back a couple of times before they are back to normal.

Thanks for all the hard work. It's sure great to have the NDB "old" format back. I much prefer this format to that of the temporary board. It's the best I have ever seen.

Good job John. AS you have always done. It takes alot of time and effort to administer a site EVEN when the hardware/ISP side is running smooth.

Hi John:

Glad to see all your hard work is once again in plain sight. I was having serious withdrawl symptoms. Ny wife told me to get a life, couldn't find one anywhere, checked the remains of our last Sears catalog, looked under "life" and "get", nothing listed. BTW, that Sears catalog is down to the last couple hundred pages but I guess I'm okay as long as Mid America continues their quaterly catalog program and I refrain from eating at Taco Bell.
