66 BB radio delete plug wires

Does anyone have any information on the correct type of spark plug wires for a 1966 427/425 radio delete option. Are they the same braided wire as the radio equipped cars? Thanks Tim

At least per the Assembly manual, there are different wire sets called out for the L-36/72 engines with and without radio. This is also supported by the '68 parts book which refers to pass car BigBlock wiring as used on non-radio Corvette and the braided stuff with radio only. If I can find my allied parts list, i should be able to verify this but it is escaping me in this mess of an office.

i just checked a engine picture of my 1965 425 hp 396 with radio deleat and the wires are bare. i bought this car brand new so i know the wires were not changed. also i had the valve covers off many times for broken springs and i do not remember undoing the ground straps from the cover bolts. my 1966 450 hp 427 had a radio so i cannot tell you about a 1966.

Thank you all for your inputs, I do not see why the General would change from 1965 to 1966, so I will go with non-braided wires Thanks Tim
