Old Town Meet

Hello everyone,

The family and I would like to attend the meet this January and for the comfort and sanity of all involved, it is probably best if we rent a house (rates are only slightly higher than hotels for that time of year). That said, can anyone recommend neighborhoods to consider in and around Kissimmee? From the limited information I've been able to gather, it seems that there are many to choose from.

The roadway that is directly adjacent/behind the NCRS judging field and part of the swap ends 1000' back at the Tropical Palms. It is an RV resort/campground that also has small cabins for rent. They only charge about $45 for a 45' motor home, but I don't know what cabins rent for. They have pools, store, restaurant, etc and are walking distance to show. Quiet, private and secluded. They are online.

Just a little farther east on Rt. 192 from Old Town, toward downtown Kissimmee there are many single family homes for rent.The road work should be finished by then so it would only be 5 minute trip by car.Also close to the auction site. Tom
