I'll keep on throwing this out here until I am told in a way that I'll understand as to why there cannot be an on-line Driveline.
With the program bundles that are out there, I cannot understand the big deal to this.
By the time I get my Driveline via snail mail, and by the time I get through grazing through the ads looking for parts, in many cases the part was long gone days and days ago. I don't begrudge anyone who beats me to a deal, but I would at least like the opportunity to see what everyone else is in real time.
I placed an ad in "Corvette Parts For Sale" better than a year ago and I'm still getting hits for parts. I simply modify the ad as parts are sold and it keeps chugging along.
Now I'm not talking about endless ads here, but there could be time limits to ads where they would automatically drop off to keep server space free to run as smoothly as possible.
I'm sure I'm over simplifying, but I would really like to know just WHY NOT.
If money is the issue, I'd gladly chip in another $2.00 annually to keep the system operating. $2.00 X 15,000 members = $30,000 Works for me.
