The Fall 2006 "Restorer" contains a series of excellent Tech Tips. One by Arland Dower involves fabrication of C2 splash shields with louvers to direct engine heat under the car and away from the engine/passenger compartments. Apparently this works very well. My 1967, non-A/C coupe can be unbearable to drive in the heat of summer and this seems like a relatively simple manner in which to cool things down, at least a bit. Are those louvered splash shields available commercially?
