      No knowledge of top material, however
      if you are looking for tar that seems to remain flexible (not sure how long) I tried a product from Home Depot called "Henry 208 Wet Patch Roof Cement" The company has a toll free # 800-486-1278 and web site at henry.com. Not sure if you are looking for a material or just wanted to know.

          Guys,

          What about using the Dap Premium Polyurethane Roof and Flashing Sealant that is black that Jerry Fuccillo receommended for reattaching the under-side brace to the hood on mid-year cars. I think Jerry said it did cure to a hard rubber consistency.
