DB 1958 283ci 230hp 4bbl Powerglide This what the database in Chevy-Camaro shows for DB code. Same code was used several times thru the years. -

A casting date is almost always useful. The 3756519 casting was used from late 1958 production through the end of the '61 model year.
DB in 1961 was used in a full size Chevy of 230hp (4bbl) with a powerglide. Same in '60, '59 and '58.
