amazing how chevy put their logos on parts in the 20's and 30's. had to replace the thermostat housing gasket on our 31 cabriolet tonite as i finish a body off restoration of the old girl. the durn thermostat has a bowtie stamped in it. when i replaced the pilot bushing earlier, it too had a bowtie stamped theron. the plug wire ends also have a bowtie stamping.mike

Now the only stamp you might get is made in Japan, Mexico or Canada.

Can't remember exactly where I saw it..but Ken Kayser wrote about the change that GM made..in not putting their logo on everything.

I was the seller on these hubcaps.

Found them in a garage which used to house a 35-36 chevy pickup. Same bowtie as on my 67 seatbelt buckles, down to the color. Darn they wouldn't fit my Ralley Wheels.

Roger Smith and crew(old boy's club)lead GM in the nosedive in the 80's and they haven't been able to pulled out of it since.Remember the black painted "corporate engines" in the Oldsmobiles.
