    Carburetor 1971 LS 5

    I have a 1971 LS 5 I am trying to prepare for judging. Until the 70-72 Judging Manual gets here,I was wondering where the part number for the carb is located. Mine indicates a Quadrajet, made by Carter. I can't find the part number anywhere on the carb. Thanks! Jim

      The number should be stamped on a vertical surface on the LH side of the carb. It should be an eight digit number.
